Just working it out like normal this week. Things have been fine at both offices, but the long days don't leave enough energy for catching up with friends and posting some updates during the week. Rolling out at 6am, riding until 8:30, working and then riding home is the new routine. I still need to make it habit to close my office door and lay down for a few minutes after eating. Somehow that little rest makes a big difference. It's totally dark at 6am but there are hardly any cars on the roads near home and my current favorite route is just a 10min ride to the bike trail where I cruise for the next 45min.
Just got the scoop on lance racing in Tx today. Kath and Matt were out there and Matt was one of the few to tough it out in cold wet conditions to finish the 50 some mile race. Whats funny is the promotor moved the race start 30min earlier so Lance would have time to make his sons baseball game after (by taking a helicoptor right after finishing). What a weird way to live.
Anyway, stay tuned for my spring race schedule and donation page to raise a few $ for WBR. There's a lot of good racing to choose from - just need to decide where to go after some podiums and whether or not to go for the UCi points to get myself to a World Cup within the next year...
5 mellow hrs on the road bike tomorrow, time to eat up

Working and Riding
Not so much in the mood for typing after a solid 5hrs and 8,000ft of climbing in the Santa Ana's today. Doing a killer ride with some friends is an awesome way to spend the day.
Beth is also hopefully having a great day - in Mexico helping some people who truly need it. If you're in SoCal you should check these guys out. http://www.clubdust.org/
If the weather holds out tomorrow I'll be able to finish my 3rd week at 20hrs of riding. I've been responding well to the riding and only getting real tired the last couple of days. A lot of that is from a real busy start to the week at work so I don't think the riding is too much. Also, the last 2 Thursdays I took the mornings off and did 5hr road rides - and enjoyed the heck out of it! Luckily my rest week starts as "the biggest storm since 2004" supposedly hits Sunday night. After hitting the trainer once this week I've already had enough of it for January
Keep praying for those in Haiti

Picture Update
We finally got well and took advantage of our time off work to have some fun and log some hours training. Here's the photos to prove it.
